Keep Going

Have you ever woken up feeling a little downcast? Strange as it may seem, but you can’t put a finger on it. There are times that we find it hard to perceive meaning in an imperfect world and because of this, it’s hard to move forward… You are not alone! The struggle is real to a lot of people.

“We live in an imperfect world, and imperfect people surround us every day.”

― Joyce Meyer

What is your current situation? Have you experienced or currently experiencing difficulties in life? Do you suffer from a lack of self-esteem? Do you feel like you’re a failure? Are you constantly being criticised and picked on? These things happen and we do not have a choice and control over what comes our way, however, we definitely have control over how we react to certain circumstances.

While it might be challenging to train how to respond to things, it’s absolutely attainable. Start by getting to know yourself more. Explore and discern your core. The more you know what your driving force is, the closer you are in defining what your core values in life are. Today is the right time for you to develop your core beliefs and cling to them with passion!

“Determination gives you the resolve to keep going in spite of the roadblocks that lay before you.”

― Denis Waitley

Visualise to Actualise. It helps to have a vision of what you want to achieve in life for you to be more inspired to take action and chase your dreams.

“If you want to reach a goal, you must 'see the reaching' in your own mind before you actually arrive at your goal.”

― Zig Ziglar

Be headstrong. Motivation doesn’t come easy. Every now and then we feel discouraged. That feeling is normal but it becomes unhealthy if you stay there for too long. Find the courage and the strength despite all the negativity that surrounds you. You are allowed to feel tired and helpless so give yourself some time, but also make sure you take the necessary steps to improve the situation.

When you fail, keep going. When you succeed, keep going! Work hard until your ideas come to fruition. If you tick all your goals, make new goals. The possibilities are endless for those who think and dream big.

“When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on.”

― Franklin D. Roosevelt

“Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.”

― Newt Gingrich, Historian and Author
